Love in Progress

She became the women running from the Rocky Mountains,
the left foot weaker than the right one, the fish pond fish-
her search is concluded.
After the hearts can let go of hate
from her hugs and forgiving truths.
After the new Blues can fly without a big fall
out and away from wicked birds.
After the Italians can tear down another angry Russia
and the saddened Dominicans can stitch their big hearts with strength.
Now the Mountain can influence its rocky paths
and progress, for a final time, just like the women
with love.

Disgusting

Disgusting. I associate this word with the sound "yuck." If you are referring to someone that reminds you of the word, they are "ewww." I can hear someone puking, and the vomit that comes out of their mouth after they gag extremely loud. I also imagine rotten brown teeth clenched together. It sounds like a person hacking up spit on the sidewalk. A loud crowd with sweaty people squished together. Anything that makes someone want to throw up is disgusting.

Central Park Confrontation

Angelina: You always do this, Jimmy! I am sick of you.

Jimmy: It has been a stressful day. Just please leave me alone.
Angelina: We are in Central Park! Cheer up. This was supposed to be a fun, adventurous day.
(Tugging on Jimmy.)
Jimmy: Okay, but I work in the most stressful place of New York City. The Financial District... you don't. (Jimmy has his hands covering his face, as he breathes heavily.)
Angelina: I came all the way from Long Island to visit you on your lunch break, and this is how you treat me?
Jimmy: I just lost a huge deal. It was worth MILLIONS of dollars!
Angelina: I get it, okay. I am really sorry to hear that but I just wanted to spend time with you.(Angelina turns her back toward the side of Jimmy.)
Jimmy: I see you every day!
Angelina: Everyday?! Really once a week is every day to you? (Turns back looking at Jimmy.)
Jimmy: Fine. I see you usually once or twice a week. I am a busy and stressed. I don't have it easy like you. You're just in school.
Angelina: So you're telling me being a full-time student and working part-time is easy?
Jimmy: Way easier than what I do, Angelina.
Angelina: I'd really like you to spend a day in my shoes and see just how easy it is.
Jimmy: Alright, fine it is probably not easy.
Angelina: Whatever. This relationship is really just falling apart and you can truly careless.
Jimmy: I do care, I just
Angelina: You just WHAT?!
Jimmy: I just really don't have time for a girlfriend right now. (Not making eye contact with Angelina.)
Angelina: And why is that?
Jimmy: Work is my priority right now. (Jimmy speeds away heading back to the subway.)
Angelina: OKAY, FINE. If that is how you feel than
(Angelina is hopeless, watching Jimmy speed away while tears roll down her face.)

Wedding Celebrations

August 6, 1992. Summer might be coming to an end, but love is not. There are a lot of colorful, sparkling dresses and smiles. I can hear The Sugarhill Gang's, "Rapper's Delight", bumping in the background just by looking at this picture. Every single lady in this photograph has teased, curly hair. Pearls glisten on their bronzed skin. Couples are dancing on the wood floor, spinning each other around. The men are dressed in dark-colored suit's with their button down shirts, and ties. Many women began to take their heels off as the night progressed. There is a large window in the background that looks out into the dark sky, above the ocean. Wine glasses are filled with Champagne, as family and friends toast to a couple who vow to love each other for eternity.

Summer Sixteen

It was just an hour before I was headed to my three to ten o'clock pm shift but little did I know I would not be headed to work. Instead, I would be going to one of my favorite artist's concerts. Jillian, one of my best friends was determined to get us Summer Sixteen Tour tickets. Drake was performing at Madison Square Garden and we did not want to give up this rare opportunity. The next time he would probably be back in New York is when he dropped his next album. No I cannot wait that long!

As much as I knew I wanted to go see Drake perform, I started to give up all hope. In reality, I had work. How can I possibly make this happen? Jillian, and I went on StubHub, and looked to see if there were any good seats left on the day of the concert at an affordable price. We were in luck! Two seats available right in front of the stage for only $200 each. That is a steal! We could not miss this amazing opportunity. Although I had work, I called every one of my co-workers and told them I would do anything for them if they covered my shift. Fortunately, Danielle, one of my work friends kindly covered for me. This meant I was going to see Drake, my favorite artist since I was in middle school!

After rushing to get ready, and to make the seven o'clock LIRR train time, we finally made it to Madison Square Garden. The stadium was packed with thousands of people screaming with excitement. The opening act was some random rapper that no one knew. Jillian, and I were so anxious waiting for Drake to come out. After about thirty minutes of anticipation, there he was dressed in all black, right in front of us. He opened up the show with fire shooting up from the stage while singing his hit song, "Summer Sixteen". He was right there, oh my goodness! It felt so surreal seeing him live in person performing after watching him through television all these years.

This was definitely the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Jillian, and I screamed every single one of his songs the entire time and can pretty much touch Drake, that is how close he was to us. I was so glad our determination to see Drake paid off.  This was most certainly one of the highlights of my summer, and one of the happiest moments of my life.

JetBlue Doggieville

My flight from New York, to the Dominican Republic was quite interesting. It was not your ordinary flight with human beings surrounding you. This airline JetBlue Doggieville, allowed pet owners to purchase seats for their dogs on the airplane. Particularly, German Shepherd's only. To begin with I never do well on airplanes, and now there will be animals. Terrific. I am allergic to dogs, and I get nauseous every single airplane ride. I purchased this ticket thinking I would be flying JetBlue, NOT Doggieville.

As soon as we got onto the airplane I met my neighbor. A hundred pound, dark-brown, German Shepherd. As the plane took off from New York, I felt myself holding back puke. I tried to close my eyes, and not think about the horrible turbulence we were encountering. Unfortunately, this did not help. I was seated by the window making it more difficult to escape to the bathroom quickly. It was difficult to communicate with anyone because I had a huge German Shepherd sitting next to me.

I tried moving this huge friendly dog without puking on him, but I could not make it to the bathroom. Next thing you know I puked on Foxy, the German Shepherd. He definitely reacted differently then any human being. Foxy, started to lick my puke off of herself, and came closer to me while I was trying to wipe it off of her. Thankfully, there were no humans sitting next to me because they would not have liked my vomit all over them. Foxy, laid on me the whole entire flight, and tried to eat my puke out of my brown barf bag. Her owner was nowhere to be found. This called for a horrific four hour plane ride. A whole lot of barking, sneezing, and puking. Fortunately, Foxy was friendly and did not mind my throw-up, to say the least.

Plane Crash in the Adirondacks

This photograph takes place in the Adirondack Mountains where two pilots have landed after a horrible plane crash. The two pilots names are Jason and Carol. They have landed in the middle of the mountains without any clue where they actually are. They both are suffering from major injuries throughout their bodies. Jason broke his left arm, right ankle and has many cuts on his face. Carol has broke her left leg, right arm and has cuts all over her body. In extreme pain, they begin arguing because Carol thinks they have landed in the Appalachian Mountains but Jason strongly believes they are in the Adirondack Mountains. They take out their iPhone 7's and figure out based on the current location on their maps they actually are in the Adirondacks.

They are both injured, and trying to get rescued. They tried to use their cellphones, but come to find out they both have no service to call 911. It has now been three hours since they crashed and they are praying someone comes to their rescue. Their pain is growing, and they are starting to get super hungry. The last time they ate was four hours prior to the crash. They are petrified for their lives.

As time passes, they begin to give up hope. It has now been 18 hours since the crash. They see a helicopter approaching extremely close to them. They try to stand up on their broken bones, and begin to wave each one of their arms that are not broken. When they least expected it, a pilot giving a tour of the Adirondacks to a couple found them and rescued them. They were rushed to the nearest hospital after landing. They received all the care they needed by the nurturing nurses. The pilot came to the hospital with Carol and Jason. He bought them delicious hamburgers that they requested, and fresh water.
