Trivial Matter: Barista

OUCH!! Just burnt my hand for the tenth time today... GREAT. Being a barista can get painful way too often. Of course, every customer that comes into my job chooses to get the most annoying drinks to make during the busiest times. The Iced Mocha Latte takes FOREVER to make! First you have to take solid chocolate and melt it with the hot espresso, but since the customer wants it ICED it just makes life more difficult! Iced means there will be no hot milk which means... your drink will take an extra 10 minutes. So, I hope you love to wait! Somehow I always manage to burn my hand when steaming milk. This RUDE older women came into my job today during a huge rush and of course what did she want? A MOCHA! But not only did she just want one, she wanted one for herself, her mother and her daughter!! I really appreciate you choosing the most annoying drink on our menu when there are 700 people waiting in line! Also, If you get a hot latte with almond milk I dislike you very much! Try steaming almond milk... it just does not work. It always manages to explode on my hands. Thank you Jenna that comes in every day! I still have a burn on my hand from 5 months ago. Enjoy your Dulce Almond Milk Latte. ADIOS!

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Blog! My name is Allie. This is my fourth and final semester at NCC. I am Undecided right now in the Liberal Arts program. This is my third year of college altogether. My first year I went to Pace University NYC for business, but I transferred home my second year to give myself more time to figure out what I want to major in. I also love doing makeup.
