Central Park Confrontation

Angelina: You always do this, Jimmy! I am sick of you.

Jimmy: It has been a stressful day. Just please leave me alone.
Angelina: We are in Central Park! Cheer up. This was supposed to be a fun, adventurous day.
(Tugging on Jimmy.)
Jimmy: Okay, but I work in the most stressful place of New York City. The Financial District... you don't. (Jimmy has his hands covering his face, as he breathes heavily.)
Angelina: I came all the way from Long Island to visit you on your lunch break, and this is how you treat me?
Jimmy: I just lost a huge deal. It was worth MILLIONS of dollars!
Angelina: I get it, okay. I am really sorry to hear that but I just wanted to spend time with you.(Angelina turns her back toward the side of Jimmy.)
Jimmy: I see you every day!
Angelina: Everyday?! Really once a week is every day to you? (Turns back looking at Jimmy.)
Jimmy: Fine. I see you usually once or twice a week. I am a busy and stressed. I don't have it easy like you. You're just in school.
Angelina: So you're telling me being a full-time student and working part-time is easy?
Jimmy: Way easier than what I do, Angelina.
Angelina: I'd really like you to spend a day in my shoes and see just how easy it is.
Jimmy: Alright, fine it is probably not easy.
Angelina: Whatever. This relationship is really just falling apart and you can truly careless.
Jimmy: I do care, I just
Angelina: You just WHAT?!
Jimmy: I just really don't have time for a girlfriend right now. (Not making eye contact with Angelina.)
Angelina: And why is that?
Jimmy: Work is my priority right now. (Jimmy speeds away heading back to the subway.)
Angelina: OKAY, FINE. If that is how you feel than
(Angelina is hopeless, watching Jimmy speed away while tears roll down her face.)

Wedding Celebrations

August 6, 1992. Summer might be coming to an end, but love is not. There are a lot of colorful, sparkling dresses and smiles. I can hear The Sugarhill Gang's, "Rapper's Delight", bumping in the background just by looking at this picture. Every single lady in this photograph has teased, curly hair. Pearls glisten on their bronzed skin. Couples are dancing on the wood floor, spinning each other around. The men are dressed in dark-colored suit's with their button down shirts, and ties. Many women began to take their heels off as the night progressed. There is a large window in the background that looks out into the dark sky, above the ocean. Wine glasses are filled with Champagne, as family and friends toast to a couple who vow to love each other for eternity.

Summer Sixteen

It was just an hour before I was headed to my three to ten o'clock pm shift but little did I know I would not be headed to work. Instead, I would be going to one of my favorite artist's concerts. Jillian, one of my best friends was determined to get us Summer Sixteen Tour tickets. Drake was performing at Madison Square Garden and we did not want to give up this rare opportunity. The next time he would probably be back in New York is when he dropped his next album. No I cannot wait that long!

As much as I knew I wanted to go see Drake perform, I started to give up all hope. In reality, I had work. How can I possibly make this happen? Jillian, and I went on StubHub, and looked to see if there were any good seats left on the day of the concert at an affordable price. We were in luck! Two seats available right in front of the stage for only $200 each. That is a steal! We could not miss this amazing opportunity. Although I had work, I called every one of my co-workers and told them I would do anything for them if they covered my shift. Fortunately, Danielle, one of my work friends kindly covered for me. This meant I was going to see Drake, my favorite artist since I was in middle school!

After rushing to get ready, and to make the seven o'clock LIRR train time, we finally made it to Madison Square Garden. The stadium was packed with thousands of people screaming with excitement. The opening act was some random rapper that no one knew. Jillian, and I were so anxious waiting for Drake to come out. After about thirty minutes of anticipation, there he was dressed in all black, right in front of us. He opened up the show with fire shooting up from the stage while singing his hit song, "Summer Sixteen". He was right there, oh my goodness! It felt so surreal seeing him live in person performing after watching him through television all these years.

This was definitely the most amazing concert I have ever been to. Jillian, and I screamed every single one of his songs the entire time and can pretty much touch Drake, that is how close he was to us. I was so glad our determination to see Drake paid off.  This was most certainly one of the highlights of my summer, and one of the happiest moments of my life.
